Quick question. Just read that motorcycles don't pay motorway tolls in Norway, is that still the case and which lane at the toll booths is best to head for? bikes dont pay toll (or "bompenger") unless you take a ferry, then its hidden in the price for some reason, still not sure why. we h...

the russian border is a hell of an acomplishment! i think that hardanger has enough of norways culture, but seeing lappland is also worth doing.
did you see any moose? i still havent, i am thinking that they are a made up creature to lure in tourists, like the loch ness monster and bigfoot....

so yeah, here is the little trip from yesterday, purple is the way there and green was the return trip, some fantastic hairpins bends and great views over the fjord.

Wessex is not a county but was a region that combined a number of today's counties. Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset groups merged to become SERV Wessex, one of the volunteers shares the same name as you.
