Yep, I think one of the steepest/trickiest I knew was Altybady (crap spelling I know, I don't have the map) near Llangollen, not done it in years but it was a heartbreaker.

Personally, I love the Michelin maps, a few sheet maps and you can cover a vast area and have the fun of sitting around studying them, looking for wiggly, green shaded roads :-D

Well, the weather has scuppered me by the looks of things, some better weather is forecast for the next 7-10 days.... maybe!! So I am grounded to try and get some grass harvested. Pretty hacked off with this, as I was really looking forward to the ride down and the gathering as well as the Mountains...

Brittany ferries and LD do the strap over the seat so hard it forces my varadero seat to pop off, I have to watch the buggers like a hawk or they would ratchet the thing down to the suspension stops if they could! LD knackered my seat pan on the Vara 3 years ago.... Bodged with fibreglass and alloy...
