Re: What’s happened to all the cheap bikes
Well here’s a couple, possibly a bit left field but they are out there for sure. First Yamaha Fazer FZS600 2000 model with 9000 genuine miles on the clock. Goes lovely, at least as well as it looks, £1950. Then there’s my latest bike. A1999 Suzuki SV650S with a genuine 617 miles from new! £2495 http...

Re: EU. In or out?
What is difficult to understand, given we now know how many times Johnson has lied to us, is that so many of the population are blindly still accepting his lies You reckon?, nobody I know believes a word he or his Cabinet says I agree with you totally--personally I'm fed up with some people taking ...

Re: EU. In or out?
The question I am raising is are we predisposed as a species (not as individuals, but a collective) to believe what we are told as it suits us as a species that way? Have you read any of Stanley Milgram's work? Important social psychologist working in the 60s. Amongst other things, he constructed t...

Re: TET GPX Files, iPad and Garmin Montana.
At least a decent set of GPX files will stop you lobstering it at the scenery. I always used to get crabby when that happened, or when I had to winkle a friend out of a pothole.
Thank cod for decent GPS.

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
5l steel Jerry can in the LH pannier. 9l on board, 300 mile range. You know it makes sense  On a separate note, how does anyone cope with one of these without a side stand, it’s just so useful. I made my own setup, from 8mm thick steel plate, a secondhand NTV 650 stand (it was what I had). Anyo...

Re: not a proper adventure bike
Strange the this whole comunity is called Adventure Biker Rider. So what is than an Adventure Bike Rider It’s because we ride our bikes on adventures, be they big or small, the bikes or the adventures, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter whether they are adapted for off-road or not, it ain’t what ...

Re: This ones got me worried
Two of my bikes get laid up, my 10,000 mile Fazer 600 which is like new, and my dear old C90. Both tanks are filled, both start after the winter layup with no additives, neither has a rusty tank. My Super Cub has to just get on with it all year. Snake oil comes in many forms it’s wonders to perform,...

Re: Honda CB500 slipper clutch issue?
Thanks John. From my asking around a number of owners that I know, it looks like this is a one off issue. The chap who owns the bike is by his own admission not mechanical and I’m trying to help at a distance. We know it’s not the clutch cable or bar lever. We think the lever/bar in the clutch housi...
