I have to use the bend-the-knees, straight-back technique or end up with a k-nackered back...
The DR is not heavy, well not compared to picking up my KTM 950 :P

Went out on my own today, well worth it for the views.
Was slicker than my old science teachers hair and she was nicknamed 'the greasy weasel'!

Snow? Let's go !!

There are many downsides to having just a part-time job but there are also advantages, today I took advantage of not working today and went out for a ride in the snow. The worst part was getting out of Bristol as there was carnage of nearly every hill but eventually I got out to the good roads.........

Re: What makes for a good off-road/green laning boot?

Horses for courses. For me the most important thing is grip, that's why I wear trials boots with a grippy sole but I fully understand why others vote for protection first. Whatever boots you buy make sure you get a good pair of ex-army sealskins as that's what will keep your feet dry, not the boots.

Re: Stella alpina 2013

The guy who sells the badges will be at a point on the trail that he considers is dooable on a road bike, the postition changes from year to year depending on the conditions. We will be heading over to Bardonecchia for the rally from the Dolomites, being hard-core riders we are letting the train ta...
