Re: Lone Rider v Vango Turini 200 Adventure tents

I have the Lone Rider and love it. Got it off UKGSER for a couple hundred quid. Dead easy to get up and down, loadsa room to stand, sit, cook and sit in fact a really versatile bit of kit. It's not the lightest smallest thing but as it's the GS that lugs it around that's ok. Quality is good too i re...

Re: Boots for motocamping?

I have Altberg Hogs but they now leak so got a pair of Ex. German Paratrooper boots for 45 quid and they are great. Not sold as water proof but so far they have been. Easily as good as Altberg.

Re: Indicating

I've been told they are not taught to indicate anymore :pinch: cheers Spud ;) I never had a Car license till late in life and then only got it for work. did it about 7 years ago and one of things I found damn stupid was the insistance that there was no need to indicate when pulling out if there was...

Re: Tall tent?

I have one of these that i picked up used. It is very similar to the Redverz Atacama. Used it for the first time at the Touratech event and loved it. Dead easy to erect, lighter and a smaller pack size than the Freerider which i had before but, giving more sitting, cooking, gear storage space than t...

Re: Yamaha Fazer 1000 2003 opinions

I bought one new in 2005. Hell of an engine, fast and pulled well. Did my first track day on it and it left a lot of the track bikes for dead on performance, it was even better after the suspension was set up by Mick Grant. Amongst the things i didn't like were: the rear brake was deadly as it would...
