It’s often 10mph less in a van on country roads and dual carriageways unless you’ve got windows and seats in the back like my T5 Kombi (V5 states ‘Diesel Car’)

It was a mobile speed trap. I was tempted to walk back with the dog and chuck a few tacks under the wheels as I walked past.

Any recommendations for hardware/apps to help me avoid getting anymore speeding fines? I’ve just received another dreaded letter exactly a year since the last one so about to get another three points (speed awareness course not an option!). I normally run the Waze app when in the van which gives ale...

Our local sunflowers are just on the turn into dried out versions of their sunny selves, so took this shot today before it's too late. https://scontent.fcdg2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/237105334_10158195302885857_2717095687176796839_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-5&_nc_sid=8bfeb9&_nc_ohc=YWXA...

Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread

It’s horses for courses.

If I didn’t do multi day TET camping trips I probably wouldn’t ride a T7 but as it’s my only bike, it’s served me well for that primary purpose for the last 6k miles including commuting to work etc.

Ireland - Trail Riding?

Just back from a 1400 mile week long touring holiday in Ireland (by car) and the question the Mrs and I always ask ourselves when visiting somewhere new is - could we live here? After experiencing the warm welcome of the laid back locals, stunning countryside/coastline/quiet sandy beaches, cosmopoli...

Brought the Innova and managed my best yet at 168mpg.
168 mpg!!!

I recon it’s the tash that’s reducing drag. The aviation industry use winglets for the same effect.
