Re: Shoplifting wife

An electrician was out late one night and met his wife in the kitchen as he sneaked in the front door. His wife asked "Wire you insulate?" He replied "Watts it to you, I'm Ohm ain't I"? I'm surprised she didn't charge him with worse than that, give him an ample earbashing and th...

Re: Old Bikers Never Die

With stupid remarks like that. That's made my mind up not to bother with this site anymore... It was a joke and wasn't meant seriously (note the smiley at the end) and R2M saw it that way. This forum has to be one of the friendliest and politest that I frequent; it would be a shame if you left beca...

Re: EAB To host a rally 2012?

I don't think it's an option to change to The Angel; no fires and faff with the keys.

Apart from that, it's still your call!

Re: Panniers,panniers,panniers

I really doubt it - they're made from 2.5mm ali. One weighs in at 8kg and the other at 9kg. And then there's the mounting frame that you don't need for the Varios which adds even more weight. Mine are heavy panniers but don't worry, there is much lighter kit out there. However, from what I can tell,...

Re: Panniers,panniers,panniers

What do you want to do with these panniers? Have you got something planned, or will you still be using them for day-to-day? How much stuff do you usually carry and how expensive is it? My Caja Sahel panniers are monsters and can hold a lot of gear, securely - If I go to something like the BMF, I can...

Re: Expat needing help !!!!

Which bike is it for? For a Honda, then I'd have thought that David Silver Spares would do the job. For Suzukis, then Wemoto have been good in the past (and it looks like they cover Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha now too)
