DavidS , that's a brilliant idea if needed.

Sock Protector
Have you ever had any experience using a Sock Protector on bike gear, basically when I am in sitting position my trouser legs ride up a bit too far. Also hoping that when standing up and going through water it may help water being forced up the trouser leg, i.e. a better seal on the boot and trouser...

Re: Biker camping / other places in France open in October
Thanks for all the replies so far, very useful. Would far prefer to support biker places like 3b's biking rather than horrible municipal camp sites..

Biker camping / other places in France open in October
A few of us are planning a loop around France in October. Most of the camp sites would be closed by then , anyone have a list of alternate places to camp for example, biker places . Looking in around the Lyon area but also plan to be further north .
Cheers

Ignition Fuse on the Tenere XT660 Z keeps blowing
About 200 yards from my house the ignition fuse (10 Amp) blew. I pushed home and replaced the fuse with the spare . Bike started and ran for about a minute before it blew again. I disconnected a phone charger and battery voltage monitor that runs direct from the battery and put the parking light fus...

Tenere XTZ 600 dash dead intermittently
Hi, looking for a steer in the right direction. Just recently when I turn the ignition key on the Tenere nothing happens , and when I turn it off I get some activity on the dash for a second or two. I try a few times and it comes on, a jiggle of the key in the barrel does nothing and because there i...
