Re:Hello from Alun
Well, I'd like to congratulate him on both the site and the magazine! Both are excellent, the magazine is very polished and full of brilliant content targeted at the market I am interested in. I've been involved with adventure bike touring for over a decade and this is the first time I've come acros...

Re:Would you spend £14k based on a pic on a website?
Yamaha's idea seems to be "treat em mean keep em keen", well I don't know if it's working for sales but I've past experience with Yamaha and have every faith in their product! I love the look of both the 660 and the 1200, would love to have either but the 660's not got the grunt for two up...

Re:Triumph sales overtake Japan's Big 4 in UK
Agreed Jack, I was proud to own a Triumph in the past (955i Tiger) and this new adventure bike means I may well take another look at Triumph! Not that I would dream of parting with the Mighty Varadero!

There's a lot of people head for the Alps every year! I didn't this yr fo...

Favourite Alpine pass?
Hi all, everyone has their own favourites, Jeremy Clarkson reckons the Col de Stelvio is the greatest driving road in the world, well I agree it is a stunning pass, the ladders on the Swiss side are a bit tight, even for my peg-scraping tastes but not my personal favourite. My favourite pass,,, well...

Re:What would your partner say if....
It's finding the perfect partner that's the problem! I've always been into bikes, be it road bikes, dirt bikes, I took a shine to adventure bikes 12yrs ago when I bought my first KLR Tengai, followed by five Africa twins, a Tiger and two Varadero's! I'm currently riding a VA9 Varadero which I love t...

Re:Adventure Bike Rider Magazine
Mine arrived this morning, looks very professional, smells like the ink's still wet! Had a flick through and looks like a good read! Finding interesting content must be one of the key problems with putting a project like this, I'll see what time I have in the coming weeks and see if I can muster up ...
