I think SteveW has hit the nail firmly on the head. This list would be more interesting if it showed the breakdowns / 1000 miles.
My BMWs have had their moments but they've all covered 15-20,000 miles a year all year round.

Blimey! I thought I did a lot of miles doing 20,000 a year on a bike but I feel a bit of an amateur now!

Re: January 2016 hard core rally????
I've camped at the Plume of Feathers a few times and it's a good site, with good facilities. I would make a great venue for a rally.

When will Honda be updating the Pan European?
They are so far behind the other manufacturers now that they must have something new in the pipeline.
I was expecting something new at the NEC last year but all we got was a Bagger version of the St1300.

Re: The best helmet / lid
I tried an Adventure style helmet - a Shoei hornet and didn't like it at all. Gave up with it, donated it to my son and bought a Shoei Multitech flip front. By miles the best helmet i have ever had and in 6 years I haven't even thought about changing it. Versatile and comfy. What more could I want?...

That's a nice bike, I like that. It'll be easy to work on, inexpensive to run and fun down the lanes.
