Re: Buy a Jap, they ain't crap

I think SteveW has hit the nail firmly on the head. This list would be more interesting if it showed the breakdowns / 1000 miles.

My BMWs have had their moments but they've all covered 15-20,000 miles a year all year round.

Re: Long distance riding.

Blimey! I thought I did a lot of miles doing 20,000 a year on a bike but I feel a bit of an amateur now!

Re: January 2016 hard core rally????

I've camped at the Plume of Feathers a few times and it's a good site, with good facilities. I would make a great venue for a rally.

Re: Honda reveal at the Osaka Motorcycle Show.....

When will Honda be updating the Pan European?

They are so far behind the other manufacturers now that they must have something new in the pipeline.

I was expecting something new at the NEC last year but all we got was a Bagger version of the St1300.

Ace Cafe - Say "Au Revoir and Bon Route" To Daren

Many of us know Daren (Daz). He's packed in his job and sold his house to embark on a Round The World trip. He's leaving this Sunday after having a coffee and butty at the Ace Cafe. There are a few of us planning to ride with him up to the Ace on Sunday and if you're on the route I'm sure you'll be ...

I've got one on my GSA and it works a treat. It directs the wind just over my helmet rather than just above the visor.

Re: The best helmet / lid

I tried an Adventure style helmet - a Shoei hornet and didn't like it at all. Gave up with it, donated it to my son and bought a Shoei Multitech flip front. By miles the best helmet i have ever had and in 6 years I haven't even thought about changing it. Versatile and comfy. What more could I want?...

Re: Back to basics ,with Royal Enfield

That's a nice bike, I like that. It'll be easy to work on, inexpensive to run and fun down the lanes.

Must fly, I'm going out on the GS Adv (thumbs)
