Re: You've got to love EBay !

Buyers of everything are just stupid. Try selling a house. Example: I had a nice 4-bed 1920s house with bay windows, big garden etc that I was selling. the very detailed estate agent particulars made it plain that it was "attractive, mostly unmolested 1920s dwelling with many original features...

Re: triumph bonneville as an alternative adventure bike

I'm watching this thread very closely as I'm really tempted to trade my GSA in for a new Bonnie 1200 in the the spring after seeing it at the bike show. I think it looks superb and after seeing Godspeed's bike with the panniers, it's virtually made my mind up.

Re: Recommend me some custom earplugs with speakers.....

Ultimate Ear are fantastic. I use my in ear monitors on a daily basis and they've been fantastic over the last three years. I did have a small problem with them a while ago but I called them up, talked through the problem and sent them off, they were repaired and returned within 2 weeks and have bee...

Re: Another of my pet hates!

I stopped at a motorway services a while ago and found someone had parked their car in the bike parking, I pointed it out and was told he was waiting for his wife, who'd gone to the loo and will be out in a few minutes. So I parked my bike right behind him, totally blocking him in, and said I was go...

Re: camper vans at bike rally ????

I rode to the Nec today (in the wind and rain) to visit motorcycle live. I'm telling you I was shocked to see the amount of non bikers that were there. They must of outnumbered the bikers 10/1. Weird you'd think they would go to car shows. Don't say that, I was going to go by car tomorrow to save 3...

Re: camper vans at bike rally ????

I sort of understand both sides of the argument. John, you brought this up last year when i was organising the winter rally, here's the link to what was said then Winter Rally My view is that if you're bringing an off road bike then it makes sense to tow it on a trailer than ride it there, if you're...

Re: ABR sticker seen in facebook rant by Dez

I don't understand why people find it necessary to ride with auxiliary headlights on all the time. I have a set on my bike and only use them in certain circumstances, either in very poor visibility as per the Highway Code (if visibility is less than 100m) or if I'm riding on a road that has animals ...
