Re: Panniers.......... or "Enduro" Trailer?
I know someone who regularly pulled a trailer behind a Pan European and he always said it didn't affect the handling until it got over 100mph as long as he loaded it properly and didn't have his top box and panniers fitted to the bike. I wouldn't be too keen on taking one on a typical UK green lane ...

Re: Agnellotreffen 2017
I can't plan anything with any degree of certainty until about a week before but if I'm off work I'll probably be going.

Re: TRAFFIC PROBLEMS FOLLOWING INCIDENTS AND ACCIDENTS
From what I've seen the so called 'smart motorways' do seem to flow better than the older 3 lanes plus a hard shoulder and limited signage ones. The one I've used most is the section of the M6 between Stafford and the start of the M6 toll and that's definitely better than it was 3-4 years ago, the s...

Re: Terra Nova Trisar 3 tent
That's very cheap for what is a very good 3-4 seasons tent. A friend of mine used to take his Trisar everywhere we were going climbing throughout the year and it stood up to everything including being pitched on windswept glaciers. Much better than any of the similar priced new Vango stuff frequentl...

Re: Hot or Cold Jet Wash?
I rarely use the bikes in winter apart from my annual trip to a rally somehere and a couple of short rides nearer home to get back into the swing of it so don't bother cleaning them. The outfit is still as dirty as the day it came home in March but it's still got a reasonable layer of ACF50 on it. ...

Re: OCD and motorcycle ownership.
Cars get cleaned when they go in for a service. That should be enough for any man?

Re: OCD and motorcycle ownership.
I used to just go to my local car wash staffed by illegals and chuck them a tenner to clean the bike while I had a brew and a sandwich from the burger van on the same industrial estate. No hard work involved, no need to put waterproofs on to stop my jeans from getting soaked and best of all no mud t...

Abattoir gloves suit her quite well because she's a bit of a heifer.

Re: Interchangeable Skills.
I'd buy one of the more 'tasty' electric mountain bikes if I thought I'd get away with it but too many of them look like motorbikes so I'd get attention that I really don't want plus I've got a dodgy habit of visiting multiple pubs when I go for a 30 mile run on the one I've got and anything more po...
