Have previously looked at a Transalp but the cost of upgrading the suspension and the wheels puts me off.
Unless you're a quick rider who's going to be doing some serious offorad work at speed I'd just crack on, they're pretty good.

Re: Gatescarth Pass

They don't usually allow single bookings if that's what you've done? I wouldn't worry though, it's not hard. Best direction is from Haweswater to Long Sleddle

Re: International driving permits

Can we all just be very clear that all these are MAYBE, MIGHT, COULD. Just proceed as normal until we know for sure. If it was me, I wouldn't 'proceed as normal' if I was planning a trip in the first few weeks after March 29th. If we do leave without a deal then 'until we know for sure' will likely...

Asking a mate about how they make the batteries and how do they re...

Re: TRF forum still offline

Hugh, as someone who is very clearly passionate about green lanes, can you not elaborate as to the issues you faced? I am not currently a TRF member (was a member) and I just see self interest at director level and lack of focus.

Re: UBCO - world’s first production 2WD electric moto

Interesting looking thing but my god why do they design it to be so small and low

and imagine how so many things will change when batteries can actually deal with a real range of a couple of hundred miles
