Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus
"But many tories have long despised the BBC and prefer to think of it as a home for LSE pinkos! " To add fire to that, I suspect the angst that the Tories have is that they believe the BBC is theirs alone and get upset at any minor transgression of the "Old Boy unwritten rules....&qu...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus
The problem with the BBC is that it has been and to greater extent still is, an institution of the UK govt and in no way independent. It suffers from a lack of diversity in class, gender and race. It has the hangovers from appointments made by the establishment and aligns itself with the old school ...

Re: Oxford HotGrips.....any good..?
I had a set fitted to the (long gone) Trannie by the Honda dealer in Glasgow, who made a total arse of the install, including snapping a screw somewhere on the right bar meaning it was off the road for a week till they got the part in. They also fitted direct to the battery and not to the Fuzeblock ...

Re: Digital bridge camera info please
Every day is a learning day, I had never heard of a bridge camera till this thread, a reduced size DSLR I suppose, but are they not still a fuddle to take with you unless going especially for a shoot? I have a Nikon DSLR (6 megapixel) and selection of lenses and I can't remember the last time I used...

Re: Dog waves at fellow biker
I suppose you look at this and say "what if a car pulls out?" The dog would be going flying if he has to stop very quickly, so I don't buy into the explanation of getting away from the bike as he would stay on. I would have thought a sidecar would have been a better option for the dog. Hey...

Re: 12v USB power question?
I now have one of these as I went away for a long day last weekend and found my phone had run out. I think the new Covid app could partly be to blame as blutooth is on all the time. I wasn't bothered about the phone, but did want to take a couple of photos and was annoyed when I couldn't. It can liv...

Re: viewranger
Apparently a few of the more high tech phone cameras can be killed by vibration, so beware of hard mounting. A chap I know thinks his Huawei's camera died after he fixed it to his bike (GS) and recently TMF was complaining about an I-phone too. Not sure if its isolated incidents, but be careful if y...

I used the online Givi configurator to get the product codes then searched online for the best price.
I bought panniers and rail kit from a company in Italy - EM Lineamoto. Paid by Credit Card to cover me for the sale, but had no problems.
