Re: fatal flaw or sour grapes

I have to agree with some of the sentiments on here that bikes like the 1200 GS and my Explorer when fully loaded are adventure styled road going bikes. I would take my Explorer up a gravel track to a campsite, but would never use it for serious off-roading, especially not on the terrain doing the r...

Re: Shark evo one??

My understanding is that there were problems with the Evo One....something to do with the visor scratching. UK GSr reported them.

I have an Evoline 3 that I am very happy with - upgraded to that from an Evoline 2. There are compromises...but for me the modular system is the best of all worlds.

Having done the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way last year, I would second that and also advise taking your time....there's plenty to stop and see (both man-made and natural). Through the mountains towards the coast and southern end of the Ring of Kerry is breath-taking...enjoy it and stop off at...

Re: The Kingdom of Mourne

Hi Heff....definitely!! Would have loved to have met up!

I know what you mean Macdee....it's somewhere I've only been a few times, but each time I return I ask myself why I left it so long. The mountain peaks still had snow on them, but it was lovely, clear and warm.

Re: Time to jet wash off the ACF50?

+1 for GT85

I would ACF50 my bike twice a year but would wash and GT85 after each weekend away. Great stuff.
