Re: EU. In or out?

Great Crystal Ball you have there Dave Well most of my post was actually a reflection on the past, as something we should learn from and whose warnings we should heed. And it was a damn site more constructive than your own racism/islamophobia, Hedgehopper - for which reason your own post yesterday ...

Re: EU. In or out?

We know exactly what the brexiteers are up to. It's very obvious and not even subtle. The current brexiter game is: "We've cocked it all up, so let's blame the EU for our own mistakes" No doubt we'll see lots of it from the delusioneers in the coming weeks. Honorable people admit to their ...

We like Brecon Special Reserve, distilled in Wales but readily available in France. Streets ahead of Gordons.
Cheers Magnon - I'll look out for that. :D

Re: Gin Win

The unit next door to the ABR office is currently being fitted out with a gin distillery for our new neighbours, I've been told it's the company that makes the Rhubarb gin. Well at least if the gin trend fades a Rhubarb business won't crumble... Can we have a groan button please. Well I do l...

Re: Which bike?

Shame it's 99% roads not 100% roads! It it were 100% road I'd have no hesitation in recommending the KTM390 Duke. That's exactly what I was thinking too. The small Duke would be perfect. Why not just buy a cheap beaten up dirt bike so you can have your occasional 1% fun, and buy a proper road bike ...

Re: Gin Win

Was given two bottles of gin for Christmas. Cotswold gin, which I’ve polished off and can thoroughly recommend, and a bottle of Opihr. I look forward to opening the Opihr on your recommendation. Cheers. (PS. I haven’t drunk the Cotswold this evening, I did spread it out over a fortnight) Even if yo...

Gin Win

I guess no one can complain that this should go in 'The Pub' section of the forum.. The british owners of a nearby holiday home pays me to do their grass cutting during the Summer. They recently came over and gave us a thankyou present of a bottle of gin, knowing that I am somewhat partial to a medi...

A friend and I are planning a 6 month long trip, heading east towards Magadan or however far we get. Just the two of us, two bikes and two tents. He voted to leave the EU and I voted to remain.
Sounds like you'll be contributing two more skeletons to the road of bones.... :D
