Re: different but good

If you have a look underneath there are a couple of useful mounting points either side near the footpegs. If you can fabricate some kind of bracket use the front engine bolt as the mounting point. you need a longer bolt though.

I bought an engine guard for a Sinnis Apache which fits perfectly

Re: different but good

It will do it too Dubber, even handles mud pretty well considering. Just don't try to race any KTM's :pinch:

I have a lot of fun on my RV. Make sure you fit some kind of bash plate though, it has the ground clearance of a Sausage Dog

He didn't really think that one through

'Scuse me Mr, can I have my foot back?' Priceless, but what a stupid way to ruin your life showing off to your mates :(

Re: Adv Bike touring

Certainly more comfortable :) I think it's called having more money in the bank & knackered backs, (probably from all that dodgy camping gear). I remember spending a night out on Dartmoor with 5 of us crammed sideways into a small 2/3 man tent. I wouldn't recommend, more like a yoga class than s...

Re: just watched this on another forum and it was asking whos at fault here

Just watched that, tentative scooter rider but he didn't do anything wrong. What I find worse than the hit is the driver emergency stopping & nearly wiping him out again with his swerve. I would be visiting a solicitor with that footage & having the fat git coughing up for a DA cours...

Re: STOP SMOKING CHALLENGE

You could try my technique. I have discovered that it is impossible for me to roll one handed  Currently climbing the walls as had surgery on my hand tuesday, bored to death mooching around the house for the next few weeks, mainly staring forlornly out the window at the bike. Cold turkey curren...

Re: Ace Cafe... again

Planning a visit there at some point sunday to slobber over a few of the bikes. Hopefully it won't be quite as crowded as last weekend, never seen the Ace so heaving

Trust me I have never believed any thing a Jock has told me and never will!! Chri8t i'm not even Scottish & I find that offensive  I should introduce you to my Mrs & see how long you last with that attitude. I'm pretty sure we will be looking back with fondness over HiViz, once we're...

Re: I was going to buy a trangia but first I would like some answers

Dubber, I don't think you can use anything except meths with the Trangia (certainly not petrol, likely to explode & would taste like p*ss) unless you buy the attachment for gas. I find a small bottle gets me through a couple of weeks unless cooking a lot with it. You can also water it down to ma...
