Re: How to improve your riding...Most important riding skill?
slowing down first, you learn more by going slower both road and trail, then learn to speed up (if you wish to) more safely Wish someone told me that a long time ago would have saved me a lot of plastic and plasters. This is a good one. I often have students that just want to learn how to go faster...

Re: How to improve your riding...Most important riding skill?
Being at one with the bike. Love this. Being at one with the bike. These are great answers but let's look more deeply. HOW do you get to be one with your bike? How can some riders seem to BE ONE with their bikes while others seem detached, less fluid? Is it something they are doing on the bike, or ...

How to improve your riding...Most important riding skill?
What do you guys think is the most important skill for improving your overall riding? Is it vision, throttle control, braking, body position? Can you break it down to one technique or skill that would create the most change in your riding? Thoughts?

Carefully? Use pain as your guide? Maybe wear dirtbike boots or something that will hold your foot in place better and provide more protection and support? I hope it heals up nicely for you!

Re: How to coach motorcycle riding :)
General Low speed control Yes, that, but also I'm still not convinced that I don't turn in too early. So what do you think is the biggest challenge with low speed control of a motorcycle? Is it the mechanics involved (how to work clutch and throttle and balance) or could it be something different, ...

Re: Update on the situation in Spain
Thanks for the update. I was supposed to do some riding in Italy this July and Spain this fall but I'm in Canada and can't travel anywhere without facing a 14-day quarantine upon return. Looks like I'll be staying put for a while....bummer as this year was set to be a banner year with coaching in th...

Re: How to coach motorcycle riding :)
ok, this thread has gone quiet so I'll ask another question. What do you think is the number one riding skill that newer riders struggle with learning and why? Is it counter-steering, braking, throttle control, steering? What skill do people struggle with and how might they go about improving upon it?
