Re: Brass Exhaust nuts, yes or no???
Brass nuts sounds good, I'd stay with stainless studs. Brass is soft so it won't strip out the stud it also is corrosion resistant. Don't know how it interacts with stainless.Brass was used a lot in the Navy because it tends to not seize up. It will turn green. Sent from my SM-T720 using Tapatalk T...

Brass Exhaust nuts, yes or no???
I am doing a downpipe swap on my CBR600, Now I have always had exhaust studs come undone on their own once the original ones have been removed almost on all my bikes and there have been plenty, even when torqued correctly. I am looking at putting the longer coupling style nuts on such as these https...

Re: Dartmoor Wild camping with bike
I live on the western side of Dartmoor. Our nights are sometimes disturbed by low flying helicopters or transport planes. I'm told squaddies have to jump out of them & find their way home in the dark. So you might find you have an angry paratrooper 'drop in' on you! I can make friends with anyo...

Re: Dartmoor Wild camping with bike

To be honest years ago I would have just been stealth and would have moved on when asked, the issues I have these days is there is a shift it would seem in tolerance even to activities that cause no offence, cas...

Re: UK Superbike School back in operation!!
That is good news, not done CSS but was considering it prior to them closing. I have not watched the video yet but I wonder what track or tracks they will be based at?. Looking at the shear lack of trackdays as opposed to years back (due to noise I believe) it will be interesting to see how they man...

Re: Longest Day Ride
Thanks for the kind words chaps :D HoboBeemer - there is no legal access to off road riding up here without the landowners permission and thus there is no "starting point" for you to use as a reference for dirt riding. I use an open gate policy, taking the chance of an entertaining, one w...

Re: Longest Day Ride
Superb, What is the situation in Scotland ref riding on unpaved roads?, am I correct in thinking that "Green laining" is not a thing up there or maybe I just imagined I heard that?. I am trying to get a route planned for when Scotland opens up again, I will be on a GS and would like to fin...

Re: France as off Monday 15th June 2020

Re: Trackers that do not need to be hard wired?.
Having done a bit more looking at reviews etc I have just ordered the Monimoto, looking at a few of the indepth reviews the actual size is not as big as some have made out and looks actually really resonable for such a device.
