Cant help you with the BIG trailers But I weighed mine by simply putting each wheel at a time ont bathroom scales and taking the weight as I get it balanced (This is all whilst its empty of course) Bugger it I will send a mail tooo to The VOSA folk If they can inforce rules - they should be able to ...

Amazing I have just been doing the same as you, I recon, Mike. I have tried to track down any new laws that seem to be the foreunner to a maybe MOT test for trailers I have been informed that any trailer which is unbraked and has a gross loaded weight limit of up to 750kg HAS to have a proper brakea...

I would also like to sing the praise song for ABW in manchester. A 10/10 shop Jono one of the technical mechanics there told me he could make my gspd headlamp work good enough to get into 4th gear on a dark lane . Bloody hell 65 quid later there is a HID conversion that is nothing short of brilliant...

I would reccomend the Viamichelin site and follow/copy the "green routes" OR Find the ADAC - german AA motor site and they have a 13 or 14 map config of all the best biking routes in europe as well/inculding the connecting roads this is first class I have had day after day of perfect ridin...

Q did the high mudguard affect the steering at top speed much - Mine does at 80/90+ but I didnt have the stiffener bit on the nose

The only TT lockable bracket I have used was poor as anti-theft goes
The do look the business though
Most folks go for the "ram" mounts as they are easy off and in yer bag/pocket
