Also if you want 12v connection for a tank bag etc take a look at eastern beaver. just be aware that if you do a big buy you'll get clobbered with import duty and possibly vat depending on the amount spent.

Would love to but can't make those dates - That bottom pic, I was there about 4 weeks ago and the snow was upto the top bar of the gate, was incredible really, you could just about see it, but not get anywhere near it, we had to turn around.

I'm not sure the KTM is suitable as a first bike for 75% road use. It's powerful, vibey, the steering is very twitchy and you can find yourself in the shit pretty quickly. It would also be very tiring on long rides. The others have pretty much covered it, but also after you have tried the bmw's etc,...
