Please excuse me if I am being a bit thick, what makes one adventure bike better than another. I will be more specific. I have read in a few articles about bike choice for the budding adventurer. I cannot get my head around what makes a bike of similar weight and size for example a 1200GS or a Honda...

Does anybody know if there is an organisation for promoting Biker friendly campsites ? Maybe there are not any biker unfriendly sites.
