Re: NORWAY here I come!!!! Go pro video will be to follow!!!!

The main road throug Sweden is the E45 (runs all the way down to the bottom of Italy). It is a good A type road., and as such you can make good progress if need be. Re camping, when we went in early Septembef the temperature was fine, but luck was on our side.

Re: NORWAY here I come!!!! Go pro video will be to follow!!!!

If your bike has 200 mile range you should be ok with a bit of planning. However when i went i strapped two 2 litre containers (Hein Gericke) one each side to front of my R1100GS, put 1.5 litres in each one, so i had an extra 30miles, turns out i never needed them.

Re: Northern Ireland Summer Solstice...calling ABR'ers in Ireland!!

You are pretty handy with those maps Moorso, so it appears to be steering for a night atThe Sheperds rest, with a trip to the local stone circle to worship the sun god so far. I am thinking i could possibly link up the longest day run to end up at The Sheperds Rest, with the option to camp overnight...

Re: Cornwall + Devon.

Toured Devon and Cornwall on my bike a couple of times in the 80's, great part of the UK. Taking the family back there this summer, hoping it has not changed much
