Point Triumph at this post and see if they want to see a happy owner or continue with the "bad press"--you have nothing to lose--but be polite !!

Re: Windows 10

I noticed that MS started (continued) to do updates for XP--and on my old HP tower it was fine. I'm now on 8.1 I think, with a new laptop, and keep getting bombarded with a "free" advert for 10--going nowhere near it--its simply too much biased to touch screen and pretty graphics that are ...

Re: US Gun Control

Agree with the last but one post--for "all religions" sake get the thread dumped--its a bike forum with the occasional sideline of witty banter--THIS HAS GONE ON FAR TOO LONG AND I BET 99.9% of us are bored witless by it--and to be frank its probably turning genuine people off the forum---...

Re: plastic fuel tank sealant/coating

I would add that all plastic tanks that are spun moulded etc seem to "sweat" fuel anyway(all offroad bikes)---no decals will stick unless well perforated to let them breath. All painted "plastic" tanks (KTM adventure etc) are made of a filled plastic that doesn't "sweat"...

Re: US Gun Control

Just scanned this thread--lets bin it for goodness sake--its a bike forum--and there is a guy here that really has his own agenda. Anyway--my few comments as I'm here: I'm happy that the uk has the laws that it has--unfortunately it may stop the nutters but it will never stop the gangs or terrorists...

Re: Vehicle Tax reminder

This has just got me to check all my tax renewals and MOTs--you never have a MOT reminder--but at least you have a piece of paper with a date ! I had to use my receipts from the post office to check!! On Tax (and MOT) I think that you can go on line (GOV.uk vehicle enquiry) and check the status and ...

Re: value for money ..this little bike is hard to beat

The heat soak was seizing the pump---ok when running but I had to use a combination of throwing water over the tank and doing a fuel refresh to get me back to the mountains--but when running in France it was fine. Since then I have renewed the pump and no problems--not that there were any up to that...
