Charity BBQ (Motorcycle Event) Bring your own BBQ, 12 noon to 4 pm on 07/12/13. The F2 winter BBQ started out as a bit of a joke but has proved itself to be very popular and helps to boost the funds in our charity collection boxes. We usually hold this event just before Christmas. We supply the BBQs...

Re: Classic bikes

Yes classics are expensive, If you buy a mint, restored example and then actually use it you will probably loose money. But if you buy a good usable one, enjoy riding it and keep it in the condition you got it or even improve things, it will certainly hold it's value and may increase over time. I ha...

Re: snugpak softie elite views?

Got the elite 3. First few times I used it I thought it was rubbish, but don't make the mistake I made. I assumed it would be rubbish so I took an additional blanket and used this over the top of the bag. All I managed to do is crush the bag with the blanket and make it much colder than it should ha...

Re: Aldi battery charger

If you are using a trickle charger, consider sticking it on a timer or turning it off for a day once a week. Battery Sulfation kills batteries. Leaving a slightly discharged battery on a trickle for weeks at a time will pretty much guarantee a dead battery. As a bike dealer I sell loads of new batte...

Re: ACF50

Hi,
First, I'm obviously not charging enough. Just had a customer roll up and I charged him £30.00. I use the proper ACF50 aircraft applicator and high pressure air. OK his bike was clean so I didn't clean it for him.
Second, I did some decent testing to prove it works Click to see test results

That is a lot of money. Still I guess there is a collector somewhere who is just a little poorer and a lot happier.

Re: beers as in what do you drink?

Hobgoblin, Old Peculiar, and an interesting Plum Porter from the Titanic brewery. Plum Porter only works draft, just bought 16 bottles and it is nothing at all like the draft.

Re: Ebay buyer scam.

I sold a Citroen C3 as a Non-runner and Spares and repairs clearly stating that it would have to be towed or put on a trailer, so after a week of no contact from the winning bidder after sending several messages, get a text from the wining bidder saying he had to go to a family party so couldn't co...

Re: Ebay buyer scam.

I've sort of given up with eBay. Just can't be bothered with the people who bid and then don't complete. Or the ones that bid and turn up with about 90% of the money and say it's all they have got. If it's a vehicle I tend to use Car and Classic Car and Classic link Don't let the web name put you of...
