Re: Multistrada V VanVan

I have fond memories of those Alps trips, slow up the hills but great fun none the less. I got to the top & then a bit more of the Stella, there's plenty of 'proper' bikes that can't manage that

Re: Multistrada V VanVan

Yes Richard, they were around in the 70's. A surprisingly fun bike to ride, probably the most fun adventures I've ever had on a motorcycle

Re: Electric MTB

I'm still at work so been using the bike daily for the commute & with the weather being stunning the long way home up & over the downs. It turns what would be a pretty taxing journey (20 miles of South Downs hills) for a not particularly fit, middle aged biker into great fun.

Re: Work Case #17 Husky TE450

I lived in Epsom for 9 years & for some reason if at a loose end one sunday morning I'd find myself somewhere around Petersfield / Petworth / Midhurst for no particular reason, even if I'd just popped out for milk. Bad bike. It used to do the same coming back from the Portsmouth ferry, aim for t...

Re: Base Layers

I've got a mixture of base layers, everything from £4.99 at Decathlon to £120 worth of yak wool. They're all fine, however I do prefer the wool options, they don't stink so you can wear them for days without washing, the synthetic can pong (I bicycle rather than motorcycle commute these days). The b...

Hopefully IT will continue even if we reach a pandemic - they can remote access while self isolating ;)

Re: Electric MTB

A bought a 2019 Turbo Levo HT back in Nov, now I've moved to Brighton it's taken the place of the motorbike for commuting. If you've never ridden one up a hill you're in for a treat. Game changer. The distance you get on the battery has a tonne of variables, your weight, the mode you're riding in bu...

Re: Wales

What I love about Wales, whether you ride it in a few hours or a week, it's still a pleasure. I prefer linking the b & single track together but there are some stonking A roads when the speed urge takes over. I didn't go in 2019 so need to rectify that in 2020, I usually do at least 2 - 3 trips ...

Re: Huel Discount code wanted

Hey monster, You get a 10% discount if you sign up for the subscription which you can always cancel if you don't like it. I may have a discount introduction card but it's probably been recycled. Alternately any of the youtube reviewers have a discount code active (which is what I originally did) but...

Re: Zero Review

I demo the Fxs last year & really enjoyed it (nothing boring about them). Apart from pretty hard suspension I thought it excellent. I didn't buy it for 2 reasons.....cost, but mainly range. My daily commute is a bit less than yours & a charge would have just about made it through, but if I n...
