Not been to the Thurmansbang site, but as mates of mine have been going to the Altes since 1976 and have built up a lot of friends we go there.

Same weekend as the Dragon, you can access the site earlier in the week and pay the normal campsite fee it's on a site next to the Nurburg racing Circuit in Germany, normally colder, hopefully snowy and drier than the Dragon. http://www.alteselefantentreffen.de/ See you there John

In my experience Spanish try to understand and the French don't, quelle surprise.

I did a similar repair on an outboard motor starter with the same problem , used araldite and put the windings in an electric drill and dressed the commutator and polished up the winding body , so far so good.

This coming Friday me and a mate heading for Santander,just as it seems to be improving weather in the UK,forecastfor Spain is cloud and rain. B) Oh well only got the first night accomodation booked at A Coruna, have to look for a dry route down to Murcia.

I'll be watching the pioneers of our chosen mode of transport as they ride from Epsom to Brighton.
