Re: Today I are mainly listening to ...

Yeah, well that debate could last a while. All those bands were interestingly different from one another. Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes etc - all contemporaries and broadly psychedelic/prog rock but all quite distinct. I do like Nursery Cryme a lot and play it quite often. Amazing that music...

Re: 100,000 miles

Wow. I've never seen a bike odo pass the 100k mark.

Well done for hanging on to it and doing all the servicing / maintenance required to keep it going so long, instead of just trading up every few years.

Re: DCT gearboxes...anyone got any opinions?

If I bought a Ferrari I'd want a manual box. If I bought a Bentley I'd want an auto. But soon all this wil...

Excellent band. Still sounds good now. Sadly I think there's only one of that original line up left, but the band still tours with younger members keeping the tunes alive.

Re: 'Gilets Jaunes' Protests in France

Personally I think the Gilet Jaunes have got it badly wrong and the protests are now being directed by parts of the far right. It's a mess and becoming self-defeating. But I've got no problem at all with some direct action. Without it we wouldn't have many of the rights we regard as normal today. I ...
