have the same problem on firefox 18.0.2 have already been back to 17 once due to other problems with 18, looks like I am going back again!! Yes OK with firefox 17.0.1 obviously have to live without the upgrade 'improvements'. When I first tried 18.0.1 it kept shutting down, 18.0.2 cured that problem...

Have a couple of VT500s at the moment, a 82 Ascot that I sold 15 years ago never moved out of the area recently brought it back and a 83 VT500E rat bike that I brought as spares then decided to make a tracker out of it, work in progress.

Had a yamaha majesty 250 scooter could do over 70 no problem, the 250 & 400 yamahas and suzukis intermediate superscooters are cheaper than the 500-650s but would do much the same job for you. Reasonable space so you do not have to bend your leg tightly
