I use a sheepskin all year round. In the past I've used padded cycling underwear very comfy except in hot weather very sweaty bum. And they do make it look like you've crapped your pants unless your wearing winter riding gear.

My Duchinni XXL weighs 1581g It does sqidge my cheeks a bit. I also had to cut away some of the polystyrene around the ears so I could wear my glasses. The sizes are off I had to go up a size so don't buy until you try it on.
