Hi Garyboy Re your questions, heres my best guess. Passport. Probably, yes, as you may be required to produce to Border Control on leaving Dublin port? Better to have it and not need it. Petrol. Its slightly cheaper in Ireland but only a few pence per litre. Ferry. About £100 return on my last visit...
