Re: The Kingdom of Mourne

Hi Heff....definitely!! Would have loved to have met up!

I know what you mean's somewhere I've only been a few times, but each time I return I ask myself why I left it so long. The mountain peaks still had snow on them, but it was lovely, clear and warm.

Re: Road racing

I would agree with Mac....the Ulster GP is now one of the last unadulterated Road Races left (along with the TT). There are smaller ones (the Tandragee and Armoy 100 - but they are so small their future is in peril). If you want genuine kerbside action, the UGP has it for a fraction of the cost of t...

Re: Action Cam - a different question

Had toyed with the idea of buying one of these: WenPod

Don't think it'll iron out vibrations, but a nice x-axis gimble.
I've seen some anti-shock ones for GoPro and other cameras, and although the difference is magnificant, I just can't justify the price frankly.

Re: Moto Guzzi Quota suzivstrom650 said, my mate has one. Loves it. The gearbox can be a bit agricultural (I've ridden it too). I have to say though, I liked it. Different to the Explorer! A bit 'viby' when sitting in neutral, but a blast to ride; although his is the 1100 engine. He cured much of the vibes thro...
