Re: WAW - Kinsale to ?? (Possibly Limerick)
As the others have said, there are loads of alternative routes based on weather etc. Having ridden the WAW and Ring of Kerry, you really can't go wrong on them or anywhere near them! I've done a little sample and possible route up, but the main thing is to remember that here you'll never cover the a...

Re: Slumit tents, worth it?
Hi I've had it for about 4-5 years now. I don't use it that often (5/6 biking weekends a year). But I have used it in all weathers (they recommend wrapping the guy rope once around the poles if you're expecting winds and by doing that I've never had any issues). Re: Slumit tents, worth it?
I use a Slumit Cub and am a big fan. Very easy to put up and take down. They are a longer pack size on the back of the bike, but not by that much.
When it comes time to replace it with a new one, it'll be another Slumit for me.

Re: Travel....Food....Disasters....
Whilst in Mexico many years ago I decided to eat in a little 'restaurant' that was in the middle of no-where. Now, although I can't take extremely spicy food, but I like my chilli. However, I ordered a local re fried beans and chilli beef dish. I could not believe what was happening in my mouth, the...

Re: Motorcycling on Tenerife...
Hi Ian Believe it or not I'm just back from Tenerife (although not motorcycling) as my father lives for part of the year there. The island is split (literally) into two halves by the volcano and national park of Teide. The northern side of the island is much more traditional with the south very tour...
