Re: Car electrics

A short or a bad earth maybe. Abad earth. caused my rear lights to go like a christmas tree on an old car many years ago? Try pulling all the fuses out and putting them back in one by one to see if you can isolate to certain circuits. Google for the same issue / user forums? If you are using WD40 on...

Re: EU. In or out?

I see the EU is very concerned about its slow vaccine program, the UK rollout (excepting Wales) appears to be doing far better right now. I expect that situation will change due to our own ineptitude but obviously we would of course be an even worse situation if the UK had not turned down the EU of...

Re: EU. In or out?

I've made 2 mobile phone calls to my mum in dorset since the new year. From here in Limousin. Before brexit they would have been negligibly cheap on my mobile contract. Just pennies. So small I never even noticed them. But I just checked the bill on line. The first call was 6 minutes and cost 5 eur...

Re: Timmelsjoch museum

My understanding of 'controlled collapse' would be a demolition where the thing falls 'down' vertically rather than 'over' horizontally. The collapse has to start near the top for this to happen. IE when Fred Dibnah knocked down chimneys, he'd remove bricks at key locations all around the structure...

Re: Timmelsjoch museum

WTC towers were central core construction with a light structure to the external walls for stability and to take the glazing. They were designed for aeroplane impact but not for the size of planes used in the attacks. Still loads of conspiracy theories, however it is interesting that they fell as a ...

Re: Timmelsjoch museum

I don't know whether there is/was an EU/ECE standard for buildings or building materials. But it would still be down to member states to implement and enforce them if there were. Since 1978, the UK has had a culture of removing 'needless regulation and red tape' and appears to have forgotten why mu...

Re: Timmelsjoch museum

I really dont understand how various building regulations, in countries, are allowing flamable materials both in private and public housings??? Would be interesting to find out the cause of the fire. Building regulations are usually based on life safety (USA is different and based on protecting the...

Re: Know the difference.

It is in the Touratwat catalogue for GS riders Essential wear if taking a GS off-road (in case of sphincter related accidents) , which is why there won't be that many sold. There is also a female only version with two projections.....market testing has found that it hits the GSpot perfectly. Wonder...

One item gives you compression and one item gives you a spark, but can you fit them both into the same cylinder?
