Re: Bloody petrol gauge.... miles left.
Luddite Time. Some of my bikes have a tap with reserve, some have a gauge that guesses what might or might not be in the tank. I like the reserve. I use the trip and aim to never use the reserve, but on the rare occasion I get it wrong, it's nice to know it's there. Having a tube that sticks up into...

Re: HONLEY 250 VENTURER
Now here's the point. Great if you are happy and confident riding a bike that is tall. Brilliant, you have loads of choice. But if you are not happy and confident riding a bike that you can't get both feet on the ground, don't listen to all the confident happy people telling you to just get on and r...

Re: HONLEY 250 VENTURER
Peter, The problem is the link is a big casting, very nice it is too. But this makes changing things difficult. As a one off, having a new part CNC machined from billet with a different offset would cost rather a lot of money, unless you happen to be good friends with a CNC machine shop and they wou...

Re: HONLEY 250 VENTURER
Thanks for popping in Peter (Artic Fox). Such a shame it was a bit too high. Nice to see you anyway. Hope you get sorted with a nice low bike soon.

Re: HONLEY 250 VENTURER
£3k is a good price for the Honley but its not quite what I want, I hope they sell well. I think that Jawa was the coolest looking bike at the rally (except for my DR obviously). We notices that there was about an inch at the top of the front shocks, could you make the front a bit taller? I'm guess...

Re: HONLEY 250 VENTURER
Angel what is the Jawa like to ride ? Have they left the yamaha engine untouched ? The Jawa is very good to ride. As standard with the sporty road tyres it is a fine road bike. With the TKC 80 tyres it look so cool, but I have to say they feel a little remote and a bit floaty above 75 mph. The Mina...

Re: Salisbury Plain Rally - so how was it for you
Given up with firefox, as I can't upload links or pictures.
Now on Chromium (ubuntu) so it might work.
Really enjoyed the weekend.

Re: HONLEY 250 VENTURER
Link didn't work, but it's on my profile page.
Please don't jump to the conclusion I'm trying to sell through the forum.
I'm just saying we will be getting them soon, if you want to have a look.
Thanks
David
