For all things VStrom try www.vstrom.info, lots of tech pages as well as forum. Also www.v-strom.co.uk which is more social, but some techy bits and then there's www.stromtrooper.com which I know nothing about.

Still using my lovely, ye olde Garmin Quest, small, waterproof and easy to use. The downside is that Garmin have stopped producing updates for the non NT products (they don't use postcodes).

Or if you're feeling flush there's the Kermit... for the bigger biker :unsure:

You'll love it. I've had the F650 Funduro and F650GS, which was a brilliant bike, only let down by my want of more power, but not really needed. The G650GS looks great and price seems fair, but BMW do usually leave everything else as extra!

Hi and welcome to the forum, strangely I'm also in Weston B) I've not been in the TRF for about 20 years :ohmy: that'll show my age up! I used to ride green stuff a lot when living in Kent, usually on an aged (even then) XL185 and a pair of XR500's - real men's bikes :whistle: Anyway, welcome Womble...

Good decision, Aprilia's are lovely as are all Italian bikes, but reliability always wins the day

Looks like you had a good day out. I've just picked up the messages; I was staying over on Dartmoor on Friday and Saturday, but unfortunately not on the bike. Dartmoor was cold (12 this morning) and grey all day.

If you bought it from a dealer did you get a warranty? Is so insist it's fixed or replaced - just my 2p's worth
