I've been hunting for a review of one of these for a while now, and never found one.
I know the purists will say go Tom Tom or Garmin, but for how much I would use one (maybe twice a year), this review makes it just what I'm looking for.
I think the same company (or similar) are now doing a 5 ...

Re: What did you all learn from your trips this year???
I learnt that the KLV isn't unbreakable cos the rear brake line failed.
I also learnt that you don't need a back brake for road riding, and after 3 tours of Scotland, and 1 9 day Europe jaunt, with only that problem, I doubt I'll ever get rid of the KLV cos I rate it so highly. Fantastic bike ...

Re: NEC Motorcycle Live
I treat it as a relative thing. I went yesterday with 2 mates. £25 to get in, £4 parking per man, £20 fuel per man, £50 for the day. The full day was 14 hours from leaving the house to getting back.

Re: Bennetts Insurance!!! YIKES!
Just moved my insurance to Bennetts tonight for the KLV1000 for £119.
£3 of that for credit card payment and I went for helmet and leathers cover, legal, personal accident cover up to £10000, and basic breakdown cover (I already have Autoaid, so this isn't that important) for £36.

Anyone Stopped in Any of These?
Planning a Scotland tour at the end of May next year with my 15 year old son, my mate and his 12 year old son on a KLV and a V-Strom (same bikes, just 1 is orange with Kawasaki on the tank :) ). On previous tours, me and my son have always camped, but I'm fed up with all the setting up/packing up ...

Re: Motoblouz.co.uk
Just bought a pair of T30 Evo tyres from them. Original delivery date was about 2 weeks from the order date, but they arrived about 3 or 4 days before that.
Were also about £20-£25 cheaper than anyone else for the tyres.
I'd recommend them.

Re: Bike Accident do I need to disclose it when renewing Car insurance?
My wife wrote my Impreza off at the end of July 2011 as a named driver on the car insurance. When I told MCE about it when my ZX6R insurance was due at the start of July 2012, my bike insurance went up £80.
They're robbers and nobody will change my mind about that.

Thanks for the comments guys.
New helmet now bought :woohoo:
The KLV is now off the road for a while. Since I bought it 2 and a half years ago, it's done 3 trips to Scotland and 1 trip to Europe and it's never faltered, it's been a star. However, it's now time for some maintenance.
