Re: 2022 KLR 650
Looking at the default press release for this one (ie, every site has the same info) it does appear to be not much more than slapping EFI on a previous gen KLR with a couple of other upgrades here and there like digital clocks, updated fairing and such. So I can see why it's heavy for what it is. I ...

Re: Dakar 2021 Finished
thanks for the in depth/know reply, I understand the start position dilemma, my sideways query was really- were all the top riders riding by that philosophy or those perhaps more confident of their own navigational skills trying to go fast regardless and win stages and the event, a similar thing us...

Re: Dakar 2021 Finished
I can not think of anything else that I would consider paid TV for other than this one event. I do not have enough in depth knowledge or know the whole story but if it is common practice from the riders to race for a premium next day start position it kinda spoils it a bit for the casual spectator ...

Re: Dakar 2021 Finished
I've been watching the official youtube and redbull tv coverage for the stock FIM footage that all the tv channels get and 27 Octane for raw footage for years now. Eurosport have been notoriously bad with the timings for years! Stars for me are Kevin Benavides staying consistent for the overall, Sam...

Re: 3 days hard enduro mega trip North Thailand
Great video, love the riding and the banter that goes with a trip! Great part of the world too. I was there for christmas 2016. Hired a couple of Honda XR250 in Chiang Mai and rode the 1095 to Pai. We managed to squeeze in a few days off roading too. One day we headed north and I guess must've been ...

Re: KTM 640 Adventure Rally Build
Fuel exhausts? UK company, excellent quality and a variety of styles.
Progrip 714 rally grips. (these are the rubber, not foam, ones) Sorry, they are black! But comfortable on my 434 DRZ and have lasted very well.

Re: KTM 640 Adventure genuine luggage
KTM parts finder (so underrated, same fiche diagrams that dealers use) only shows the panniers, and iirc that is all that was available. https://sparepartsfinder.ktm.com/ComponentGroupTemplate/Index/23635?modelidentifier=1000176167&isEngine=False Hope the link works correctly but if not then hom...
Re: Groan
Yesterday I was washing my motorbike with the girlfriend.
She said "Can't you use a sponge instead!"
