Been an avid Tour X user and fan for the last 7 years and rode to Westbay last weekend to pick up a new one but came away with an Xlite x551 having found everything about it seeming so much improved over the Arai. Left there in the Xlite and rode 220 miles and love the helmet...quieter, less buffeti...

I use an Exped synmat 7 and that I bought in preference to a thermarest cot and have never regreted it.
Packs down really small and is light not to mention being amazingly comfortble...for me

Have a look at the Exped mats. I have the synmat 7 and cant fault it. Packs down to the size of a beer can and is proving very durable not to mention being more comfortable than my previous thermarests.

Planning on having a ride out around Dorset on Sunday if anyone fancies it. Will be leaving Sturminster Newton sound 9ish for three or four hours with a brew somewhere.

I am in a similar situation where I have no garage however my bike happily lives in a secure garage at my inlaws...when I tried to insure this way there was only two companies that would insure me, baring in mind I live in a low risk part of Dorset (and ride a Triumph Tiger!) The solution with my ex...

Cheers guys, yeh my thoughts were that its good value for a trip around the museum too. The girlfriend want to have a look around the house so reckon I'm onto a winner and the Tigers not been there before
