Re: Honda Africa Twin site. Still work in progress.

Hello again, I just wondered if you would all be so kind to share my new site with people you think would be interested. www.hondaafricatwin.com If I get enough constant traffic I can start to consider an AT video rebuild series. It's a lot of work filming and editing so needs to have a following fi...

Re: Honda Africa Twin site. Still work in progress.

Are you including the XV750R? I wasn't planning on featuring it as this is the Africa Twin site. I don't know enough about the XV750R but maybe I could be persuaded to add some pages, if someone wanted to write the content mentioning about how the two bikes are linked and has pictures we are allowe...

Re: Honda Africa Twin site. Still work in progress.

Looking good. Keep it up. Hopefully some of us on here will be able to submit interesting stories/anecdotes and information. Although I can't think of anything right now!! Good luck....... Thanks. I'm always keen to hear good stories etc. Plus there plenty of scope for adding them to the site. Rob

I would perhaps drop "Honda" from the url? africatwin.com sounds better in my opinion.
Unfortunately it was already taken.

Re: Honda Africa Twin site. Still work in progress.

Really good site :) Small spell error here: The headrace bearings can be checked by applying the front break and plunging the bike forward and back. The handlebars should feel solid and no movement should be felt or seen round the steering yoke. Perhaps a bit more about specific issues with the AT ...

Re: Honda Africa Twin site. Still work in progress.

Very interesting worthwile project. My knowledge of the marque is minimal, now enhanced by a scant read. Keep the picture content up & it should be well received. There was a recent video on here which included a restoration of an AT. Good luck with it. Brian. If it was Aim For the Horizon it w...

Honda Africa Twin site. Still work in progress.

Hello guys and Gals, Just wondered if you wouldn't mind giving me your thoughts on a site I've made. www.hondaafricatwin.com Being a very happy Africa Twin owner for over a decade I decided to build a website about them. It's still work in progress but if it turns out to be popular I was considering...

Re: I've been thinking..... next year

I've spent a long time bombing around Western and Eastern Europe the Balkans and Africa and as long as you think sensibly about fuel it's never really a problem. Apply common sense and just enjoy the trip. Concentrate on having an amazing experience until about 16:30 when you start looking for a pla...

Re: Western Europe - Aim For The Horizon film now online.

No problem Daniel, Hope you enjoyed the Balkan stage. Making films like these has been my hobbie and labour of love. I haven't made any with intention of making money but more for the opportunity to share the adventure. It's nice to hear questions about how things were filmed as I am behind anybody ...
