Some years back when me and 15 mates headed off for a week of mayhem at the Nurburgring. Horrible weather in France to start, but turned out lovely and had the best week of my life. Often remembered, never equalled.

My bike would chew up that mileage with ease ...

Ideal for two-up long journeys, smooth and quick when you want it to be, but will sit at traffic speed all day long without giving you wrist or back ache.

Going with the XJROC by any chance?

I fitted a GIpro to my Fireblade to avoid embarrassing moments of trying to pick second into a corner and finding it was third, or worst first!

Real easy to fit but not sure it would be needed on a trail bike.

Trouble is that would mean stopping and getting off the bike - nope, enjoy riding too much even if my brain is screwed up because of it. :S
