I thought this probably belonged in here: https://scontent.fcdg2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/259624926_6421936717876835_902136512666176374_n.jpg?_nc_cat=1&cb=c578a115-7e291d1f&ccb=1-5&_nc_sid=8bfeb9&_nc_ohc=fZvFIe0ulnoAX-KPJf7&_nc_ht=scontent.fcdg2-1.fna&oh=db72c99fffce2a21...

Re: Thinking of travelling to or through France?
I’m going to see a friend later. If I go on the main road it’s a 40km journey along one road, the part in the Vienne is 80km/h, when I get into the Charente it’s 90. If I go on the smaller back road it’s 100km/h the whole way. 🙂 Yeah, if I use the D951 to get to Steve's house I pass from 80kmh in H...

Re: Thinking of travelling to or through France?
Thanks David. I was thinking about posting this too. It's been a complete mess, but perhaps gradually returning to the 90kmh nationwide standard. A good example of how something that affects every journey made by car/bike/lorry must have the same law across the entire country, not a patchwork of cha...

Worth watching this if you haven't seen it (and you're into engineering): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jvxrUfvfYw Love that clip. I really should have watched the whole program. OK, so a question for the old school engineers on here. Can a CNC milling machine not exactly replicate the precision...

OK, went for this one in the end. Thanks again for the suggestions... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233650080023 You will now have to take the MV out in the rain to check that your USB port is waterproof. 🌨☔️ Never. She is a garage queen, pampered and sheltered from the elements. Her masseur alone is ...

Re: Today I are mainly listening to ...
Hey, that's really great, and tbh I'm a bit envious. There are gigs in UK early next year but none local(ish) to me so we'll have to travel a bit, maybe to Portsmouth or even up north. It's a shame those gigs in Bordeaux and Toulouse are not next summer.... riding down south with a bit of camping a...

Re: USB handlebar charging
I’ve been using a quad lock charging cable. Apparently doesn’t draw a current so I’ve wired it directly to my battery. Had no problems so far and today has money off too 👍 https://www.quadlockcase.co.uk/collections/accessories/products/usb-charger-motorcycle?variant=31210563993715 Yeah, I'm thinkin...
