So what do you suggest ?

Re: Bike criminals

It will not make much of a difference. Even if the police are involved in an accident and Johny the scrote gets killed due to his own misdeads, the IPOC (complaints dept) will persue the officer regardless of what the CPS decide. This is potentially worse as the liklihood of sacking for 'gross misco...

For Sale: Yellow DRZ400S 7,300 miles 2007. £3,300 ONO

Guys, my DRZ400S is up for sale. The bike is unmodified exept for a bash plate and has only done 7305 miles. It is in generally good condition with a few wear marks and scratches. It has nearly new (100 miles) Pirelli Scorpion tyres on and comes with a user manual and a Haynes service manual. Also i...

Re: 1200GSA final drive problem

I've just been to the Yamaha dealer to take a look at the new Super Tenere ES plus the older model. Mmmmmm, I think I may be sold on this bike! I know they're heavy, but ironically it felt lighter than my GSA. And a close buddy of mine has been riding one for a couple of years now, and importantly,...

Re: Next bike: Super Tenere?

It is only a valve check but a bit of a faff to get at. My worry is that a dealer just would not do it as these engines are renowned for high miles and at 24k they very rarely need adjusting. I can just hear the mech " sounds ok? job done". Having bought mine from a dealer that made a big...

Re: Next bike: Super Tenere?

I test rode a 2010 super ten today. 15k miles, in good nick, happy with the price (6500ish), needs a different screen for me, but other than that pretty happy. I'm 6'5, and it seemed pretty comfy. Going to test another one, a 2013 model. More miles at 23k, same price. Both the bikes you mention are...

New trailers and the law

Has anyone had to go through the new VOSA IVA system to get a registration plate for a new, home made trailer yet ? I ask as my old one is creaking and I need a beefier one. I wondered if anyone had gone through the process yet and could shed any light on the pain or otherwise. For those that don't ...

Re: Nordkapp, should I?

Well I have found myself with a 24 day window in June and I am thinking about heading to the North cape. .......................... Hell yeah. You cannot account for the weather but it is a great trip never the less. With 24 days, you could come down through Finland and do the Baltic States via Hel...
