Re: *%^**!!!
Yup it's too late the global wind currents have changed and then world weather is buggered...we are in for hot summer droughts and mild wet winters... It's hasn't started to effect world food production but it's slowly ramping up... So we better get used to changes because its changed for our gener...

Re: The RAC and the motorcyclist
Last Friday after lending my compressor to a mate earlier in the day after he had a sow puncture I had a blow out in the rear tyre on my little Yamaha while riding home through the Cotswolds. As it was only a couple of hours until nightfall and I was in a pretty remote location I wobbled along for ...

Re: New Beta Alp 4
That is super cool. 8-) From the website: The new Alp 4.0 and Alp X models are equipped with a 350cc engine developed in partnership between Betamotor’s technicians and those from Tayo Motorcycles. Developed specifically for this project, the new power unit with electronic injection is capable of su...

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.
Morning all, My last (for now) DR up for sale. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305105898076 Sad times. Did you sell it Brenhden and if so what's next ? Oh yes, the market is very buoyant for TET suitable bikes. Next bike for me will be something I can commute with. That new Triumph 400 looks lovely as d...

Re: Has the time come for more comuter bikes
My round trip is about 60 miles mostly motorway. My only bike till recently was a DR200 and it was not enjoying the motorway at all. The cycle/train ride is around 1hr 40mins each way and £16. Driving is not possible. I will get a commuter bike like a CB500x at some point but the real concern is par...

Re: Itchy Boots Rides a Pre Production Himalayan 450
If it has 40hp and is cheaper and more offroad capable than the CB500X then it's hit the sweetspot.Scott_rider wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 4:13 pm The internet seems to suggest the 450 engine in it will produce about 40bhp, which is a healthy amount, in relative terms

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
The new model is definitely a single. ...a Vstrom 250SX (single)...the current bike is a Vstrom 250 (twin) ...but I think it's still sold new in some markets...so there are two different '23 Vstrom250's... :? This is the new one https://www.suzukimotorcycles.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/V-STRO...

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I wonder if the UK will get the new Vstrom 250? It's arrived in Asia, Australia, and South Africa...25bhp single cylinder, 168kg. It seems to get a good enough review from what I've seen on YouTube. Just looked online and Suzuki say its a twin. I looks great to me but it has a euro 4 engine so I do...
