I notice there is no mention of the size of the reg plate, just that it has to be readable at 15 metres... So what does it mean to have an illegal plate?

I know that one well - was on it this morning! I use it as part of a 25 mile loop that starts in Kineton - plenty of fun yet still accessible to most.
