Re: The "Relive" app

Really nice app. The missus uses it for our walks. Really easy to use. And a nice result, including photos and short vids. Used it a few times on the bike but it shows where you got your highest speed. Eek. :?

Re: UJM

Dave,

V&H still very much on the go. Got a set on my Speed Twin. Triumph branded "extra". Quality. Also do a sexy half system for the new CMX1100 (and the original 500) ...and they need all the styling help they can get. :)

Re: UJM

Ahh, proper GS's. What i aspired to when I was a wee fella. And popped my ton-up cherry years later on a mates GS750 with a 1000 lump, drag bars, horrible N-Eta 4-1, bikini fairings and no front brakes. Could not wait to get rid of my 125 pariffin wee-wee machine after that. "Rider Polici...

Re: Dakar 2021 Finished

Nailed my Eurosport Dakar coverage this year....until stage 12! Agh! On Demand only had up to stage 11 (even last night) and my tapings on stage 12 was bloody snooker (ok telly if you want to leave it on and go for a siesta!) Caught up as much as I could on "Dakar" on you tube. Pretty poor...

Any trip report that makes me open google maps alongside means top work from yourself! Cheers!

"The weather on departure was looking good" This was a little ominous as an opening though. I think I can see the future! :D

Re: Oxford HotGrips.....any good..?

Fitted Oxford Heated Touring grips to my Crosstourer this year. Cant say I have done the planned thousands of miles on them unfortunately. I wear "race" style gloves and the heat has needed turning down. Nice an' toasty if needed. Wired as per instructions. Noticeably thicker than Ho...

Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread

The ol' 660 had the version with a 22/23ltr tank did it not? Definite selling point from the usual piddly tanks with enough capacity to get you somewhere then your fecked/ having to "calm down."

So I see their thinking.

What kind of range have folk eke'd out the T7?

...but they get better the further north you go. :D Agree, it is different now with folk having mobiles. Infact that is what made us go and get mobiles after my missus having a bad one and the weather closing in. Luckily an absolute legend Mountain Rescue turned around (the majority of car drivers j...

Re: A new problem has appeared.

Aw Gawd, A737 is going to be my new commute in a few weeks! [/quote] North of Beith, towards M8, is slow in the mornings from 07:30 till after nine (in the old normal) and reverse in evening. Quite quiet for now, but has been building up. Luckily few nefarious cyclists at those times. If going by b...
