Re: DeLorme / inReach SE Two-Way GPS Satellite Tracker/Communicator

This is a bargain. I would have snapped your hand off but I just managed to get an Inreach SE a few months ago after waiting ages for a bargain.

Re: Kit build cars - Caterham/Westfield

Not got much experience with Westfields, but we built/ran/raced in the 750MC (and now CSCC) and have a very good friend who runs and owns MNR (Mark Nordon Racing) who builds/designs and sells Caterham and Westfield type cars that we ran. May be worth a look as they're road cars. https://www.facebook...

Re: Ural's, I think

I'm having great fun choosing taxis. Normally travel in the buses but being a bit more careful due to covid. So far I've had a few Ladas. Sadly no Nivas, I suspect because a lot of them (all of them?) appear to be two door versions. As for the bike, just trying to get the whole importing and registr...

Re: Ural's, I think

Thanks both. I think it's just a holiday romance but am looking at pre 1980s ones anyhow due to no MOT and then, according to that website, wouldn't have any issues with it being the wrong hand drive in the UK. If nothing else it's filled an evening with daft ideas. Wonder what import duties would be.

Ural's, I think

I'm on holiday in Ukraine again and always find myself looking at the old Ural's (At least that's what I think they are) with the side cars. Maybe they're Dnipr's too? I'm now sitting here looking at them on the classifieds. Should I even be contemplating this? Don't have the first clue about import...

SOLD - For Sale - Touratech? R1200GS GPS Mounting Bracket Adapter Bar and RAM Ball

I've found this in the garage. I don't know why I never fitted it to my 1200GS, I obviously bought it second hand as someone has welded a RAM ball onto it. It looks identical to this (There's also a PDF fitting guide there) https://touratech-usa.com/Store/Touratech-GPS-Bracket-Adapter-bar-R1200GS-No...

BMW R1200GS Standard screen 2006

I have the standard screen from my 2006 1200GS. Is it of any use to anyone? It's in decent condition with normal wear and tear. Sadly just because of its size I reckon postage would be £10 or so. Or you can collect from me in Lutterworth. Make me an offer, it's just getting in my way. IMG_20200616_1...
