Re: Global Warming?

What do you think is fuelling this. In 1950 (the year that I was born - yes I'm an old git) the world's human population was about 2.5bn. It is now approaching 8bn. It's not going to take another seventy years to double that. What will these extra mouths be eating. Will nations be fighting over wate...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

I had my jab today at Headcorn aerodrome - Kent - on a filthy day. I was very impressed how efficient the process was - didn't even need to get out of the car. All the people in Hi Viz jackets must have been quite cold. They waved us away as though we were family. Two weeks ago my wife had her jab -...

Thank you Spike a bit of respect at last. And when the Scots bugger off - ungrateful sods - life will be just perfect.

Yes it is a RV125 Suzuki Sandbike that I bought new in 1974. I've just got it back on the road after being stored for ten years.
Not fast but good for country lanes taking in the views.

Re: Multistrada V VanVan

Further to may previous post. I ran the bike for four years until I wised up and got a car with a heater - no more frozen fingers. When the bike was about two years old the flywheel could be lifted up and down 1 mm. Not knowing much about bikes I decided to split the engine to replace the crankshaft...

My 74 Sandbike bought it new from Monty and Ward of Edenbridge and still have it. 35000+ miles and no rebore!
In reality they don't go and they don't stop. The VanVan is a better bike.
