Re: 2stroke oil in 4 stroke

I used to add 2T to my diesel Land Rover and it certainly ran smoother and started far easier in the winter. There are, however, those who say that it's all baloney but it seemed to work for me.

Re: spped camera Switzerland

If the letter is genuine and you were the rider/driver then you'd be advised to treat this matter seriously. There are plenty of stories kicking around about people receiving similar letters long after the alleged offences took place. They can't all be made up internet stories (can they?) so tread ...

Re: Is this a new low for the Police

So, what if they were waiting to catch a terrorist, or a mugger, would it still be a new low?

Why do so many people think that it's somehow unfair to be caught breaking the law?

If you think that speeding is ok, then start a campaign to change the law.

Re: The saga continues

You'd be better starting off with a TR25W single. Powerful for a 250 and looks great. Best of all, you should be able to pick up a mint one for around £2500 and prices are not going to fall on these. Only issue was the big end due to the high compression, so get one that's had the big end replaced ...

Re: Time for a change -3-4k budget for next bike

Best bike for £4k? Should get you a 2005 CB1300 SA and is everything you ever thought a motorcycle should be (on tarmac anyway). Mojo returned.

If you want a similar all-rounder, on a budget, a mint Diversion 900 for £2k is the one to go for.

If you're looking for an alternative to Liege, but want to maintain your basic route, then go to Monschau instead - don't miss it.
