+1 for Irfanview, Picasa and Gimp from me too. All three pretty good but for different things, Irfanview for basic editing and Gimp for advanced, Picasa sits pretty well between both with basic and some advanced features.

That looks great, love the black/gold colour scheme as well. Too bad I just spent all extra cash on what was supposed to be sunny surfing holiday in Newquay and the wife's b-day coming up. Gutted now, but good luck with getting a decent home!
